Former WWE star, Matt Hardy has been told he has to attend anger management classes as part of a plea bargain.
Hardy was arrested along with his wife in January after a domestic violence incident at a hotel in Virginia.
The couple have now both pled 'no contest' to assault and battery charges according to TMZ Sports and will avoid any further legal issues so long as they stay out of trouble for two years.
Hardy and his wife, Reby Sky will both have to complete the anger management course and are liable for some legal fees but that is as far as the punishment goes for now.
Avoiding trouble for two years may be a little complicated for Hardy however who has not been out of the spotlight since leaving WWE. He has had two DWI offences and been removed from a rehab clinic in the last three years.
According to a report on TMZ, the couple plan to stay together despite previously filing for restraining orders.
