Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp and Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas were reunited after dining out at the same London restaurant on Monday night, reports the Daily Mail.
The pair - who played together for three years following the Spaniard's arrival at Arsenal in 2003, and the Dutchman's retirement in 2006 - attended Knightsbridge's swanky Zuma restaurant with their respective partners.
Bergkamp has been back in England since Saturday when he was at the Emirates Stadium for the unveiling of a statue of himself outside the ground, and stayed to watch Arsene Wenger's side cruise to a comfortable 4-1 victory over Sunderland.
Fabregas, meanwhile, is a regular visitor back to the capital, having enjoyed eight successful seasons with the Gunners, before opting for a move back to Camp Nou to rejoin boyhood club Barcelona in 2011.
The 26-year-old played as Tata Martino's side fell to a 3-1 defeat against Real Sociedad on Saturday night, but still found time for a brief visit to London.
Although at opposite ends of their respective careers when they were together at Arsenal, Bergkamp and Fabregas share a piece of history, having both been part of the same squad that last won a trophy - the 2005 FA Cup.
