Fernando Torres has revealed Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho does not explain his decisions regarding team selection.

Speaking to Spanish newspaper Marca as reported by Goal.com, the Chelsea forward admitted it is just something he's become accustomed to working with Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.

Torres, Samuel Eto'o and Demba Ba have all been rotated this season, with all three struggling to find the net on a consistent basis.

And the Spain international has revealed he does not get an explanation from the Chelsea boss when he drops him.

"You just get used to it and try to respect his decisions," Torres told Marca. "Mourinho has shown everybody will get a chance and we've all been through the same thing.

"He likes to rotate the squad and shake up the team depending on the opposition. There are two months left in the season and we have to stay focused."

Despite their position at the top of the Premier League table, Chelsea have struggled for goals this term. Eden Hazard is their top scorer with 12 in the league so far - double the next highest scorer at the club.

Eto'o has the most goals among the forwards with six in the league, while Torres has managed just four so far this term in 19 appearances.

Mourinho was caught earlier this week admitting that he "has no striker" in an off-the-record talk captured by Canal+ on tape.
