Coach attacks parent after 8-year olds basketball game

We know that things can sometimes get a little heated in the world of sports, but after a game between 8-year olds!?

Well that's apparently what happened in New York on Monday in an AAU basketball game between House of Sports Elite and BSNY Titans, both teams who's players are in the third grade, so either eight or nine years old.

In the video, from the Instagram account of 'TomBerri', after the game the coach of the Titans took offense to something said by a parent in the crowd and got aggressive.

The coach proceeds to run into the stands and punch the fan in the head, causing him to fall on to the ground in the fetal position.

According to the poster of the video, the coach was arrested after the incident.

The host went on to explain a little more background about what happened leading up to the altercation.

"I know right, the parent was yelling shit across the court at him the whole game.. Who does that?"

So it seems like the parent was running his mouth as his child's side was losing and he ended up getting his gob shut for him.

These are ridiculous scenes that unfortunately have become all too familiar in children's sports.
