Former NBA star, Michael Cooper has said that he believes that Kareem Abdul-Jabaar and not Michael Jordan is the greatest NBA player of all time.
Speaking at LAX airport to TMZSports, Cooper claimed that Jabaar had the most unstoppable shot.
When asked who was the greatest pound for pound player, the former Laker said:
"That's pretty tough, there's been a lot of great players before I even started playing and then now. I gotta go Kareem Abdul-Jabaar. He had the most unstoppable short and could do a lot of things at a young age."
Abdul-Jabaar is the leading points scorer in NBA and during his stellar NBA career was an NBA All-Star 19 times and won the NBA Championship six times.
Cooper also praised his former Lakers teammate, Magic Johnson for his recent role in the purchase of the Los Angeles Sparks WNBA team. Johnson was a member of the group which purchased the LA Dodgers and that same group are now also involved with one of the premiere franchise in the WNBA.
Cooper has spent time as a coach in the WNBA, coaching the Sparks between 2000-2004 and 2007-2009.
