Barcelona have added their name to the ever growing list of teams interested in Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala, according to the Daily Star.
Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have all expressed interest in the defender, with Manchester City preparing a bid in the January transfer window before the deal fell through.
The Frenchman is reportedly worth £40 million and is wanted to tightened up all three of the Premier League teams defence. Managers Moyes, Pellegrini and Mourinho have all expressed their interest as well as sending their scouts out to watch him play.
Barcelona boss, Gerardo Martino, is looking at Mangala as a possible replacement to captain Carlos Puyol, whose contract is coming to an end. Mangala has become one of their top targets for the summer, and is one of the names on a five man shortlist.
With Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City almost certain giving the French defender the chance to play in the Champions League, it may see Manchester United fall out of the race. The current English champions face a struggle to make next year's competition after a poor domestic season under new boss David Moyes.
It seems that where Mangala ends up at the end of the summer could be one of the biggest transfer story of the summer.
