A Florida high school football player has been arrested and charged with a felony count of lewd lascivious behavior after reportedly impregnating his cousin.
The player who has recently committed to Louisville for 2015 is accused of fathering the child with his 14-year old cousin Deadspin.com reports.
His cousin went through with an abortion in November after she told her mother of the incident, at which point the police became involved.
According to the police report, the girl said that Rhaheed-Muhammad did not force himself on her but rather "it just happened".
The player who is 17 at first refused to take a DNA test but was forced to do so once a warrant was obtained. On the resulting test, it was deemed that there was close to a 100% chance that he was the father.
Louisville coach, Bobby Petrino said via a statement that he "is aware of the situation."
Rhaheed-Muhammad is a three star linebacker from Fort Pierce Central High School. He is ranked as the 40th best player in his position and the 73rd best player overall in Florida.
