Raymond Felton's day just continues to get worse as his wife accused the point guard of threatening her with a gun, according to multiple reports.

Ariane Raymondo-Felton - who filed for divorce last week after just 19months marriage - alerted the police of her husband's gun and her attorney handed over the semi-automatic Belgian-made pistol late Monday night, according to TMZ Sport.

Felton turned himself in to the NYPD on Tuesday at 12:30pm ET (5:30pm UK time), where he was questioned and later charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a firearm, which are felonies, and fourth-degree possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor, a police.

It remains to be seen what the New York Knicks will do about the situation, though they have already tried and failed to trade him away, including the eight year veteran in several trade packages, yet no team was willing to take him on board.

The Washington Wizards' Gilbert Arenas was suspended for a whole season by the NBA back in 2009 after violating the league's gun rules, perhaps Raymond Felton may face the same punishment.

If the authorities don't find him guilty, that is.

The ninth year point guard has averaged 10.4 points, 6.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds for his career.
