Bacon on this Minor League teams plate

In a turn that can only be described as sizzling, minor league outfit the Lehigh Valley IronPigs have turned their uniform in to the least kosher option.

Bacon is the logo of the game now as the IronPigs have completely rebranded with a streaky bacon hat logo and a shirt with Pigs now underlined with more bacon and the pants being lined down each leg with… You guessed it, bacon.

The IronPigs, who are an affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, are looking to wear this every Saturday for the coming season and are encouraging fans to join in by having bacon themed memorabilia available to buy, including a scratch-and-sniff t-shirt.

In what is sure to be a shrewd marketing move and likely to go a bit viral for awhile, the team are in fact wearing a different kit for each day they play. Manchester United’s kit release record has nothing on these guys!
