Manchester United haven't told the New York Stock Exchange that David Moyes has been sacked, according to journalist Rob Harris.
After it had been suggested that the Manchester United boss was on his way out of the club, Harris took to Twitter to reveal that the Red Devils haven't made an announcement regarding Moyes' future.
Harris tweeted: "Re: Moyes. Man United have made no announcement to the New York Stock Exchange today, or any announcement."
With the NYSE set to open at 2.30 GMT, it remains to be seen as to whether the Manchester United hierarchy make any announcement regarding their manager's future.
Manchester United suffered a humiliating 2-0 Champions League Round of 16 defeat to Olympiacos last night, as their season continues to go down hill. Moyes' side are out of both domestic cup competitions and sitting in sixth place in the Premier League table.
And now Manchester United are in danger of missing out on a place in the quarter-finals of Europe's elite competition. The Red Devils will have to overturn the 2-0 deficit at Old Trafford in three weeks time as they look to save their season.
