Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is being lined up by Atletico Madrid as a possible replacement if their star striker Diego Costa leaves the club, according to the Daily Mirror.
Diego Costa has been in scintillating form this season and has caught the attention of several clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.
He has scored 21 goals in 25 league games this season to help Atletico to third in La Liga, tied on points with Barcelona above them.
Atletico president Enrique Cerezo has no intention of letting the Brazilian born striker leave, but is lining up replacements in the off chance that Costa leaves.
Suarez said last week that he wants to play for Liverpool in the Champions League and may get the chance next season, with the club in the top four, only four points away from league leaders Chelsea.
Suarez has been vital to Liverpool's performance this season, scoring 23 goals in 22 games. Persuading the Uruguay forward to leave Liverpool could be a tough task.
Also on Atletico's summer six man wish list are Ivan Rakitic and Mathieu Valbuena of Marseille, Axel Witsel, Alberto Moreno and Angel Correa, who is a transfer target for Manchester City.
