Manchester United’s - or, rather, Sir Alex Ferguson’s - decision to appoint David Moyes as the new manager of the Red Devils has backfired quite spectacularly.
The Scot, for a variety of reasons - some of which are listed here - has struggled badly at Old Trafford this season.
There’s now talk that the United hierarchy may even choose to sack Moyes, who was handed a six-year contract, before the end of the season.
