With seven wins under his belt since taking over, Tim Sherwood has been an inspired choice by chairman Daniel Levy and his back to basics tactics keep Spurs in the running for a Champions League place, but the inexperienced manager's successful start has already hit a snag.
A disappointing result at Carrow Road and a wasted three points has stirred up rumours and fan backlash a plenty.
A circulating rumour at the moment is that the highly successful Louis van Gaal is waiting in the wings for the Tottenham job. Adding more flavour to this is the fact Van Gaal himself said recently in an interview that 'maybe Tottenham are waiting'.
Expressing their excitement, many fans took to Facebook to voice their opinions, with the general consensus being that most Spurs fans would welcome Van Gaal at The Lane and who can hardly blame them.
Seven league titles in four different countries, three domestic cups and one Champions League win are just some of the achievements he has to his name and with Spurs in desperate need of Champions League football, he may just be the man for the job.
Along with the excitement however, many others voiced their opinions and commented on how it was not fair to predict who is going to get the Tottenham job, especially since they recently appointed Sherwood and taking into account the fantastic job he has done, should they be considering Van Gaal at this early stage in Sherwood's career.
Is it fair that Louis Van Gaal is being considered already? Does Tim Sherwood deserve more time? Comment below...
