With Jose Mourinho publicly announcing that Arsene Wenger is a 'specialist in failure', a win at Stoke is a chance for the Frenchman to prove his critics wrong.

Arsenal had a slight slip up against European champions Bayern Munich two weeks ago, but came out the blocks on fire against relegation strugglers Sunderland scoring three times in the first half and winning 4-1.

Arsenal go to Stoke knowing that it is a must win game to keep their title hopes alive and remain a serious threat.

Wenger responded to Mourinho by labelling his remark as, 'silly and disrespectful' and his comment brings 'embarrassment' on Chelsea, but failure for the Arsenal man and his team will just prove Jose right.

It has been nine years since Arsenal have won a trophy and without one after this season, some fans will question what else Wenger can do for the club in the summer and may confirm Arsenal being a failing club.

Arsenal are currently one point behind London rivals Chelsea and with Liverpool and Manchester City not far behind them, this is not a game for mistakes as three points is a must.

With Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City all on the horizon in March, there cant be any chance to prove Jose right about being a failure and getting a reasonable eight points from the next four games, people will have to take Wenger team seriously as title contenders.

This is the biggest opportunity to win a trophy since players Alexandre Song and Cesc Fabregas left the club in 2009.

Arsenal currently sit second in the Barclays Premier League one point behind Chelsea and two above Manchester City.
