Ever since he announced he will be leaving the Premier League champions at the end of the season, rumours have been swirling as to where Nemanja Vidic will go.
Italian side Inter Milan were tipped to be in the lead to sign the Serbian and a deal was said to be in place but team officials were cautious of making any announcement incase the deal went south. However the centre-back has signed a three-year contract, in a deal that could earn him nearly £20 million when it's all said and done, according to the Daily Mail.
Perhaps that would put a smile on the 32-year-old's face after Manchester United appear set to continue their nose dive from football prominence following a 2-0 loss to Olympiackos on Tuesday night - the first time United have ever lost to Greek opposition- and are sixth in the Barclays Premier League standings.
Vidic has spent eight years at Old Trafford, after the team brought him in during the January transfer window 2006, costing £7million.
He has since gone on to win the Premier League title five times, the League Cup three times and the Champions League once, in addition to being named the captain by Sir Alex Ferguson.
