Barcelona have moved another step closer to securing the signature of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur target Alen Halilovic, reports talkSPORT.
The Catalan club's sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has flown out to Croatia to hold talks with officials from Dinamo Zagreb in the hope that it will help sped up the prospective transfer.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had been credited with an interest in bringing the 17-year-old midfielder to the Emirates Stadium, while Tim Sherwood is also believed to be monitoring the Croatia international's development, with a view to luring him to White Hart Lane.
However, Spurs and Arsenal both look set to miss out on the talented teenager, after Barca's chief deal-broker jetted out to Zagreb to discuss with Halilovic'c current club.
Halilovic has made 15 appearances for Dinamo this season, and netted two goals in Wednesday night's 2-2 draw with Rijeka.
A switch to Camp Nou now looks to be in the offing, with the creative playmaker - who has been likened in playing style to Luka Modric - tipped to join Tata Martino at Barcelona, where he can reach the very top of the game.
