Yesterday Pete Carroll made a triumphant return to his old stomping ground as the current Seattle Seahawks head coach gave a speech at USC.
And as he was going about describing just how he led the Seahawks to the Super Bowl last season, he was joined by Trojans alumni, and all round funny guy, Will Ferrell who crashed the stage.
The star of Anchorman, Blades of Glory, Semi-Pro and many other films, took to the stage to get in on a little placekicking practice.
As the video shows, Carroll took the place of the holder, as Ferrell connected with the football sending it high into the crowd.
Clearly he had a future on the gridiron if comedy hadn't worked out.
With the rest of the speech focussing largely on Carroll's time as Trojan's coach and the infractions which led to the school losing a national title, Ferrell's comedy relief was clearly well received.
The actor majored in sports information at USC and this isn't the first time he has returned to cause havoc.
