Some may be questioning LeBron James’ credentials as the best player in the NBA, but there can be no doubt who reigns supreme in the endorsement leagues.
Recent figures released in the U.S show James’ made a cool $42million in endorsements during 2013, and that’s without taking his Miami Heat pay packet into account.
In fact, the reigning MVP took home more than arch-rival Kobe Bryant, who made $34million, and made current challenger Kevin Durant's sum look practically pathetic. Despite being in the form of his life, Durant took home $14million in endorsements, though that figure should rise given his performances this year.
Incredibly, James and Bryant both took home more in endorsements than the top 10 MLB stars combined, whose total only totted up to $30million.
The other names on the list came in the form of Derrick Rose ($21million), Dwayne Wade ($12million), Carmelo Anthony ($9million) and Amar’e Stoudemire ($6.5million).
Envious? You have every right to be.
