The 28th season of Survivor aired yesterday and it starred a very familiar face to basketball fans. Clifford Robinson, known for his efforts on the hard court, will now be in survival mode.

This season of Survivor has contestants placed into different groups; Brains, Brawn and Beauty. Cliff finds himself on the brawn team and is already a well liked member by his fellow cast mates.

Another sports figure was also in the cast of Survivor on premiere night yesterday. The Miami Marlins president, David Samson who was on the Brains tribe and ended up being the first person voted off the show.

Cliff still seems like he has the physical drive he once had in the NBA, as he has been contributing to his tribe physically in the competitions.

Cliff Robinson enjoyed a very successful career in the NBA. He was named to the All-Defensive Second team two times. He is a former NBA Sixth Man of the Year and also a former NBA All-Star.

We will have to wait and see if Cliff can crack open coconuts as well as he could play ball.
