Chris Bosh wants more than just the N-word banned

The NBA is looking into the possibility of banning the 'N-word' on the basketball court but Miami Heat star Chris Bosh wants the league to ban all slurs from the hardwood.

The 29-year old center says that the league should do more than single out one derogatory term for penalty and that all slurs should be punishable on the basketball court.

Bosh has been quoted as saying: "It's a bunch of other things I could say and not get a penalty. I think if you bring anything in, you've got to bring them all in. I think that will work out a lot better."

The recent speculation has been driven by the possibility that the NFL introduces 15-yard penalties for the use of the N-word and the NBA are also looking to make changes in their game to penalise its use.
