Barcelona's Bojan Krkic appears to be on the radar of Liverpool's scouts, who believe they can recruit the striker for a cut-price fee.
According to The Mirrror, the on-loan Catalan star could be available for as little as £5million.
Bojan is currently loaned to Ajax, where he has been deployed predominately on the right wing. As little as three years ago, the Spaniard was seen as one of Europe's hottest prospects.
Another product of the famed La Masia, he became Barca's youngest debutant at 17-years-old. Bojan won the Champions League twice and La Liga three times during his first four years at Barcelona.
Capped for Spain's senior team at just 18, Bojan seemed to have the world at his feet.
However, with the arrivals of David Villa and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Bojan moved further down the pecking order at the Camp Nou.
Now 23, Bojan's career has stagnated after failed spells in Italy with Roma and Milan, where he only scored 10 goals in two years.
Bojan himself is unsure of where his future lies, stating this week: "We'll see about my future, there are still two months of the season to go before any decisions have to be made," he explained.
With Suarez and Sturridge in top form, attack seems like the last place Brendan Rodgers needs to strengthen. But with Iago Aspas failing to hit the ground, Bojan could be a credible back-up.
Having played 162 times for Barcelona, Bojan has pedigree. The Spaniard hasn't been anywhere near his best, but at £5million, is he worth a punt?
