The Utah Valley Wolverines' home match-up against the New Mexico Aggies ended in shocking scenes on Thursday night as a brawl broke that appeared to involve players and fans, reports the New York Post.

After the buzzer sounded on a hard-fought 66-61 win for the hosts, the fight seemed to sparked after Aggies guard K.C. Ross-Miller hurled the ball in the direction of Holton Hunsaker.

Rather than the two players just going at it, however, such a move appeared to incense the crowd, with a plethora of angry fans descending onto the court and joining in with ugly scrum that marred an otherwise entertaining game.

Watch footage of the shocking brawl (fast forward to around 17 seconds) above - with thanks to KSL Sports.
