Galatasaray boss Roberto Mancini wants to become the next manager of Tottenham, reports The Metro.
The ex-Manchester City boss only took over at the Turkish outfit last year, however has struggled to settle with the club and reportedly wants a move back to England.
And now, with the long term future of Spurs boss Tim Sherwood in doubt, it appears that Mancini wants a move to north London.
Sherwood has had a fairly decent spell in charge of Tottenham since replacing Andre Villas-Boas earlier on this season and it remains to be seen as to whether he will be relieved of his duties at the end of the campaign.
For now though, Mancini at Galatasaray and Sherwood at Spurs will be hoping to achieve success in this campaign. The ex-Manchester City coach will be hoping to lead Galatasaray to the Champions League quarter final in a few weeks time, meanwhile Sherwood will be desperate to crack the top four with Tottenham.
Tottenham's immediate attention will turn to their clash with Premier League strugglers Cardiff City on Sunday as the Lilywhites look to secure all three points at White Hart Lane.
