Danny Granger has officially signed with the LA Clippers, the franchise announced today.
Granger was widely expected to link up with the California team after having his 76ers contract bought out on Thursday, but many expected the deal to have to wait for his waiver to be cleared over the weekend.
The 30-year old had previously spent eight seasons with the Indiana Pacers prior to his trade deadline switch to Philadelphia and had appeared in 29 games so far this season, averaging 8.3 points and 3.6 rebounds.
Originally drafted into the league in 2005 the player will link up with the Clippers as they attempt to cement their place in the top echelons of the Western Conference.
The franchise is currently sitting fourth in the standings with a 40-20 record and his presence will provide added experience from the bench.
Granger was an All-Star in 2009 and will hope to get a chance at a title this year.
