William Carvalho wants to prove to Manchester United manager David Moyes that he's good enough for the first team at Old Trafford, reports The Daily Mail.
The Red Devils boss is reportedly interested in the player's signature, however appears reluctant to meet his £37.1 million buyout clause.
It was only recently reported that, Carvalho, who has been dubbed the 'new Vieira', is being paid just £4,000-a-month at current club Sporting Lisbon.
And, despite Sporting ready to offer him an improved deal, it appears that he would be ready to jump ship to Manchester United.
