Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew is sure to be in hot water after seemingly attempting to land a headbutt on Hull City midfielder David Meyler.

The Toon chief has had his troubles on the touchline in the past, famously becoming involved in a shoving match with Arsene Wenger during his time at West Ham United.

However, his latest run-in appears to be the worst, with plenty of video evidence suggesting that he moved his head in the direction of Meyler.

Their dust-up took place after a seemingly innocuous occurrence, with the ball running out for a throw-in and the former Sunderland player pushing past Pardew to get the ball.

With the Tigers 3-1 down in the Premier League clash, the Irishman wanted to get the game going quickly once again, but got involved with Pardew - win an incredible result.

The Magpies are likely to end the game at the KC Stadium as winners, but the headlines will be dominated by Pardew tomorrow.
