Top five: Players who didn't deserve England call-ups (1)

This week's England squad saw the welcome inclusion of some young, in-form players in the shape of Luke Shaw, Steven Caulker and Raheem Sterling - showing positive signs that Roy Hodgson is willing to select players based on their current performances rather than reputation.

However, there were still a handful of selections in his squad that have failed to perform this season.

Be they experienced campaigners undeserving of inclusion, or an out of form youngster, several names raised an eyebrow.

Here are the five players that I feel did not deserve their place in the squad against Denmark.
