Manuel Pellegrini: I love the pressure of managing Man United

Published Add your comment

Manuel Pellegrini was clearly overjoyed as his Manchester United team won the Capital One Cup yesterday... or should I say his Manchester City team?

The Citizens boss, who only arrived at the Etihad in the summer, won his first major trophy in England yesterday and then bizarrely stated that he loves the pressure of managing Manchester United.

In the video that can be seen above, the reporter didn't seem to pick up on Pellegrini's error or just pretended to ignore it...

However, I'm sure City fans will forgive him after his side beat Sunderland 3-1 at Wembley yesterday. Goals from Yaya Toure, Samir Nasri and Jesus Navas helped City come from behind to lift the trophy.

Pellegrini will get his chance to sit in the Old Trafford dugout on March 25 as his side will be looking to do the double over Manchester United.
