Manchester United scouts were once again spotted watching Porto this weekend, though David Moyes may have been eyeing up new targets, according to Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
Representatives from the Red Devils have been spotted overseeing the action at the Estadio do Dragao on a number of occasions this season, but unlike on previous occasions when the likes of Eliaquim Mangala and Fernando have been touted as the subjects of interest, it’s believed that two new targets could be on the agenda.
A Bola speculates that the United scouts may have been present to report on the performances of Danilo and Alex Sandro, who could be the potential replacements for Rafael and Patrice Evra.
It goes on to state that due to the fact that both Rafael and Evra have been linked with exits from Old Trafford at the of this season, Moyes could be looking to move for replacements well in advance.
With a raft of changes expected to be made come the summer, it’s likely that the reigning Premier League champions are eyeing a number of transfer options with a view to improving their ailing squad.
Rumours suggest Moyes will be afforded as much as £200million to spend, and so the likes of Danilo and Sandro may well be just two of a plethora of targets.
