French champions Paris Saint-Germain are confident that they will win the race to sign Roma star Miralem Pjanic, according to talkSPORT.
The source states that PSG boss Laurent Blanc believes he has the financial muscle to beat the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea to the signing of the 23-year-old, even though he’s become one of the most sought-after properties in Europe.
Roma are thought to be keen on securing the future of Pjanic and are believed to have sat down with the player in a bid to finalise a contract which would see him stay at the club past 2015, when his current deal expires.
It’s thought that if the Serie A giants are to consent to his departure it would only be if they are offered a substantial fee, with chiefs at the club hopeful of holding out for a figure of around €55million.
Pjanic himself has yet to reveal when he wants to be playing his football as of next season, but PSG are confident that they can land him, and aren’t likely to be phased by any price tag.
