There’s nothing wrong with dreaming about your club getting the biggest and best players in the world, but what happens when the opposition team simply won’t play ball?

For the most part the ‘every man has his price’ mantra can be applied to the vast majority of modern day footballers, but there are a select few who find themselves quite literally invaluable to their respective teams.

Whilst the likes of Tottenham (Gareth Bale) and Manchester United (Cristiano Ronaldo) may have been coaxed into an unwanted sale by the sheer amount of money on the table, there’s a good deal of clubs who don’t look likely to part ways with their best assets, regardless of the rumoured fee.

Many of us will be watching the summer transfer window with great expectations… just don’t expect any of these guys to be moving clubs.
