The Philadelphia Phillies are once again employing some unusual staff during spring games.

Like last year, fans attending Phillies games in March will be greeted by the site of Hooters girls fielding foul balls in their classic white shirt and orange short outfits.

The ladies, who are more used to serving food at the brand's infamous restaurants, will be hoping to keep out of the news this year after a major faux-pas by one of their number this time last year.

During a 2013 Spring game between the Phillies and the Tampa Bay Rays one Hooters girl accidentally fielded a live ball during the fourth innings of the contest - handing it to a crowd member amidst the confusion.

But it seems that the Phillies have forgiven this mistake and have entered the party spirit once again.

The Hooters girls appeared during the ball club's game agains the Detroit Tigers in Florida this weekend.
