Tempers flare in training all the time. Fights between teammates are something that happen quite regularly in all sports, a group of grown men aren't going to agree with each other, and when one of those guys is Michael Jordan, you know it is going to be intense.

This is exactly what happened between 'His Airness' and Bulls teammate of two months Steve Kerr.

The scene is the fall of 1995 at the Chicago Bulls training camp.

Michael Jordan has come back from his time as a baseball player and Bulls fans think he is over the hill aged 32. The fans that loved him now see Scottie Pippen as the number one guy and this is cemented by Jordan shooting 41% in the playoff loss to Orlando.

MJ has something to prove, so he is even more desperate and determined to be at his best than usual. Unfortunately he goes a little too far.

The two guards went up against each other in practice and it got a little heated. Some smack talk here, a foot stomp there, punches were thrown and little Stevie Kerr ended up with a black eye.

Watch Jordan describe it better than i can above...
