John Terry crashes famous Ellen Oscar selfie!

Published 1 Comments

John Terry has earned himself quite the reputation thanks to his exploits at the 2012 Champions League final - to the point where a picture can now no longer be taken without his grinning face being photoshopped into it.

Be that as it may, we have to admit this one did make us chuckle.

Last night Oscars award show host Ellen Degeneres made a small piece of history when her 'selfie' alongside a group of Hollywood A-listers became the most re-tweeted Tweet in history.

Almost three million people have now shared the image - and in a pop culture collision, football has now got in on the fun.

Twitter user @TheFoyeEffect mocked up this image of Terry getting in on the act alongside the likes of Bradley Cooper and Julia Roberts soon after the event, and now it has become something of a mini viral hit itself.

The Chelsea captain opened himself up for lampooning when he helped his club celebrate their spectacular Champions League victory against Bayern Munich after the game two years ago, despite the fact he was actually suspended.

The fact he actually appeared in full-kit to help his Chelsea colleagues celebrate the win only served to make things worse.

Since then, Terry has been pictured pretty much everywhere - from  helping Felix Baumgartner celebrate his world record skydive from space to hitching a ride with Bradley Wiggins on his way to Olympic gold.
