With less than a week before the trade deadline, there have been many rumors doing the rounds.

Martin St. Louis and Ryan Kesler are two of the names mentioned in recent weeks.

In my opinion, everything regarding Martin St. Louis is just a rumor and a publicity stunt.

He's spent his career with the Tampa Bay Lightning, and I don't believe the team will just up and trade their captain.

After all, he is the team's leading scorer as well. However, I didn't think Jarome Iginla was going to leave the Flames, and look what happened there.

In regards to Ryan Kesler, I believe and hope he'll stay with the Vancouver Canucks.

He's struggled with injuries this year and hasn't been as consistent as in previous years. But I sure would hate to lose him.

However, if the Canucks were to trade him for Mike Cammalleri, I wouldn't be too upset. Cammalleri's style of play is similar to that of Maxim Lapierre.

He's got speed, and isn't afraid to crash the net or get in the face of his opponents. I would love to see Cammalleri come to Vancouver.

But of course, with the strict salary cap that the Canucks are forced to deal with, this trade is unlikely.

The situation regarding Ryan Miller presents a huge opportunity for some teams. What I would love to see happen is that the Calgary Flames would trade Mike Cammalleri and a draft pick for him. But I know that's probably not possible.

Even though these trades are probably not possible, the names that are in play are going to make this a very interesting trade deadline day. I can't wait to see what happens,
