Tiger Woods' status for the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral is still uncertain, following Woods' withdrawing from the Honda Classic with back spasms.

Woods' agent said that he would not be attending the Tuesday news conference ahead of the tournament. Woods had stated after leaving the Honda Classic on Sunday that he would need treatment every day to be ready for the Blue Monster on Thursday.

Tiger is still the number-one ranked player in the World Golf Rankings, but with a win Adam Scott could take over the top spot.

Woods is in his 11th reign as the number-one player, with this time spanning the last 50 weeks.

He has won the annual tournament in Doral, just west of Miami, Florida, seven times, including last year, and his withdraw in 2012 is the only time he did not finish in the top-10 at the event.
