Video: Tyler Ennis scores goal of the season contender for Buffalo Sabres

Buffalo Sabres Drew Strafford hit one of the passes of the season to teammate Tyler Ennis to put their team 1-0 up against the Dallas Stars on Monday night.

In what looks like the NHL's version of an alley-oop, the two combined to put the puck in the Dallas net before the defense knew anything else about it.

This break away move will go down as one of the best goals of the night and may be a contender for goal of the season from Ennis.

The Sabres were looking to ruin their former coaches big night as the current Stars coach Lindy Ruff was going for his 600th career win as an NHL coach.

The Sabres went on to lose 3-2 after being behind for the first and only time with over 10 minutes left to play in the third quarter.
