LeBron James has told Pharrell Williams to ‘keep killing all them charts’ as he continues to dominate the music industry with solo LP GIRL expected to be one of the top performing records of the year.
Pharrell’s hit single Happy reached top spot in the UK charts for the third time this week, one of only three songs to have ever done so, while it has achieved the No.1 in 12 different countries since its release last year.
His album is also set to reach the summit of charts across the globe, and LeBron had a message for his friend as Pharrell’s golden age shows no signs of letting up.
LeBron posted on Instagram: “S/O to my homie @pharrell on his latest LP "Girl"!! Keep killing all them charts fam. Num.1 everywhere and ofcourse "Happy" is my kids and I favorite song in a long time! Well it's everyone's favorite, just makes u feel good about yourself! #SkateBoardP #Grammys #Oscars #StriveForGreatness.”
LeBron, meanwhile, had reason to celebrate himself on Monday night as he set a new franchise record during Miami Heat’s defeat of Charlotte Bobcats with a personal haul of 61 points.
It was also LeBron’s highest ever personal score as the Heat got the win by 124-107.
