As Denmark prepare to take on the Three Lions at Wembley - with their disappointment of failing to reach the World Cup in Brazil at the back of their minds - the Scandinavians possess a batch of internationals who ply their trade in England.

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is no stranger to our shores, along with Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel and Liverpool defender Daniel Agger, who are also included in the squad to take on Roy Hodgson's side.

Despite their failure to reach the World Cup, which is set to kick-off in 100 days, the nation have no shortage of stars that have excited the Premier League and fans alike.

Here we list the top 5 stars that we think have stood out since the Premier League begun in 1992. Don't think we forgot Michael Laudrup, who is regarded as the greatest Danish player, but he failed to represent a Premier League club as a player.
