Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack was already climbing many people's draft boards before today after an impressive NFL combine last month.
But he may have just landed himself a spot in the top five after an incredible 40 time at his pro day in Buffalo.
Mack ran a jaw-dropping 40-yard dash that was clocked at 4.45 by one NFL scout, according to NFL insider and ESPN reporter Adam Schefter.
That's faster than every single quarterback who ran at the 2014 NFL combine - faster than Johnny Manziel and faster than a number of running backs and wide receivers.
For a 250-lb linebacker, that's basically freakish speed.
Mack is competing with UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr to be the first in his position taken off the board in May.
But these kind of measurables should stand Mack in good stead come draft day, with a number of teams picking high in need of a pass rusher like Mack.
The 23-year-old All-American enjoyed a record setting year at Buffalo last season, breaking the all-time mark for forced fumbles in NCAA history.
