Wrestling legend, Hulk Hogan has revealed that he suffered with nerves before his big wrestling return on RAW.
Speaking in an interview to WWE.com, Hogan said: "Oh yeah, there were nerves. Even the night before, I couldn’t sleep. I was tossing and turning. I’m thinking, “How are these fans going to welcome me back?"
Hogan returned to RAW on February 24th and is set to host Wrestlemania from New Orleans in April as part of his new role with the company.
The legend also spoke about how he was received by the crowd on his return in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
"When I came out right at the top of the show and they saw me, it was almost like I had walked behind a 747 jet." Hogan explained.
"The only way I can explain it to you is it was this energy and it was so loud it was like, “Woah"!” It made me take a step back for a minute. I was like “Okay. Yeah, this works.”
Hogan's appearance was his first in-ring since 2007 at the 15th anniversary of RAW, and was part of a campaign by the company to publicize and hype up the recently released WWE network.
The network will provide live streaming of WWE's pay-per-view events including Wrestlemania on April 6th.
WWE Network will also provide a catalogue of past events which viewers can stream as part of the monthly price. Hogan's past exploits in WWE are sure to be a fan favorite.
