Manchester United boss David Moyes is looking to bring in eight new signings at the end of the season.
The former Everton manager is planning to make wholesale changes to his side in the summer as the Premier League champions' current crop of stars have failed to deliver under Moyes.
The Daily Mail suggest Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Robin van Persie, Shinji Kagawa, Nani, Javier Hernandez and Anderson could join Nemanja Vidic in leaving Old Trafford.
Moyes will have to bring in several reinforcements if the aforementioned players were to leave the club - otherwise his squad will be extremely light.
The Manchester United boss is expected to be handed a hefty transfer budget in order to rebuild his struggling squad.
Moyes may find it hard to attract so many players to the club in one summer - particularly as the majority of his targets will be participating at this year's World Cup in Brazil.
The 50-year-old will also have to contend with the fact that he will spend a large chunk of his summer in America as Manchester United are due to participate in a number of friendly matches across the pond.
