USF recruit, Marquise Bryant has been arrested in Florida on a number of charges including resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer after an altercation last Sunday, TMZ Sports report.
Bryant, a running back from Fort Myers has been verbally committed to the university since October but has now found himself embroiled in a serious legal issue which could affect his collegiate career.
According to the reports, Bryant was approached by a police officer for loitering early on Sunday morning but resisted the arrest and made matters worse by drawing gun on the officer during the struggle.
The officer was able to release his police dog from the car and able to complete the arrest of Bryant once the player had been restrained.
The player was also arrested in December on charges of carrying a concealed firearm, resisting an officer, and loitering.
