WWE superstars past and present have used catchphrases to enhance the portrayal of their character in the wrestling industry.

The power of the catchphrase mustn't be underestimated - just ask the WWE Universe. Fans of the wrestling industry thrive off certain catchphrases, so we're going to take a look at some of the best of all-time.

Here's our top 10:

10. Val Venis - "Hello, ladies"

Val Venis may be a bit of slime-ball, but the catchphrase he made famous was pretty brilliant. He just had the perfect voice when it came to saying: Hello, ladies. Go on say it, you know you want to.

9. Stone Cold Steve Austin - "What?"

The Rattlesnake had four or five brilliant catchphrases that could have made this list. "What?" just has to feature. It's almost impossible to respond with the Redneck shouting "What?" time-and-time again.

8. D-Generation X: “SUCK IT!”

"Suck it!" What more needs to be said?

7. Ric Flair: "Wooooo"

Ahh, Ric Flair. The wrestling legend and his legendary "Woooo" chant. It will just never get old, will it?

6. John Cena: “You can’t see me!”

The words: “You can’t see me!” have certainly been made great by John Cena. The way in which he puts his hand over his face just gives it that needed edge...

What can be said about Daniel Bryan's Yes Movement? It's incredible that the word yes has taken off so much in the WWE, but Bryan plays on it so well and his fans love him for it.
