Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson thrashed arguably the NBA's best long range shooter Stephen Curry in a three point contest.

Jackson sweeped Curry 3-0 in the contest to show that the ex-point guard still has great shooting range despite his age and gave the youngster a lesson in trash talking for good measure.

You can watch the video of the contest here.

Curry currently holds the record for most three pointers in a single NBA season but couldn't overcome the challenge presented by his head coach who was known in his playing days for his passing more than his shooting ability.

The Warriors are currently on a East Coast trip as they travel to play Indiana and the three point challenge was laid down after practice.

The challenge was set to follow the traditional three point contest example, by starting in one corner and taking five shots before moving round the arc of the three point line. Unfortunately for Curry, Jackson demolished him at the first three spots and took the sweep three-zero.

Curry is hoping for an opportunity to get revenge on his head coach as stated at the end of the video that he wants a bracketed tournament much like the college basketball has to decide the greater three point shooter.
