Detroit Lions star Ndamukong Suh has reportedly been considering negotiating his own contract extension with the NFL franchise.
Suh may represent himself as his own agent which could have a huge impact on future dealings with agents and players in the NFL sector.
The defensive tackle has reportedly signed with Jay-Z's company Roc Nation but is currently without an agent since firing his previous representation Roosevelt Barnes.
According to Lions general manager Martin Mayhew, Suh was currently in the process of narrowing down his choices of his next potential agent but had yet to make a decision and the defensive stud was not adversed to representing himself if it came to it.
Joel Corry who writes for CBSSports.com said that: "He's got enough leverage where he can just blow this thing out of the water if he wants to, but I don’t think he can do that by himself."
Imagine the impact Suh could have on the NFL if he does in fact decide to represent himself during negotiations with the Detroit Lions, it could be possible that many sports agents may find themselves out of work if other star athletes follow the path that Suh may tread.
