As Manchester United fans will tell you: “Maradona good, Pele better, George Best”.

The Northern Irishman was a wonderful talent who become the first superstar footballer in England thanks to his exploits with the Red Devils in the 1960s.

Best could do it all - but it was his mesmeric dribbling skills which caught the eye. Defenders simply couldn’t live with him.
