A quick glance at his phenomenal goalscoring record shows what a brilliant natural finisher Ferenc Puskas was.

The striker, who was part of Hungary’s legendary Magical Magyars team of the 1950s, scored a magnificent 352 goals in 341 appearances for Honved before moving to Real Madrid, where he bagged 156 goals in 180 games.

While at international level, he netted a stunning 84 goals in 85 matches.

The powerful left-footed forward was too good for his era.
