Chris Johnson's time at the Tennessee Titans could be coming to an end pretty soon.

The running back recently revealed that contract talks between his agent and the franchise had stalled, increasing the belief that the 2008 first round draft pick could be the latest Titan to head for pastures new.

Johnson updated us on the situation via Twitter:

"My agent and titans front office had a talk yesterday and everything is still at a stand still so it's waiting game while I continue to grind," he revealed.

Johnson has three Pro-Bowl appearances to his name during his time with the franchise but with the player set to earn $8 million next season should he stay with the team many have predicted he will be let go to make room for potential free agents.

The 28-year old has spent his entire career to date in Tennessee and finished last season with 1,077 yards and 6 touchdowns.

He also holds the NFL Combine 40-yard dash record which came under fire from several players recently in Indianapolis.
