The speculation over the future of Nemanja Vidic was finally ended today, with Serie A giants Inter Milan announcing that they will sign the Manchester United captain following the expiration of his contract at Old Trafford this summer.

Vidic, who joined the Premier League champions from Russian outfit Spartak Moscow back in 2006, has been a fine servant for the Red Devils over the years but is perhaps now is slightly beyond his peak and has probably made the correct decision to leave the struggling club with his reputation still largely intact.

Vidic's impending departure got us thinking about other top Premier League performers whose contracts are set to expire - who else should make the decision to move on at the end of the season?
